Hearing on brand New Jersey Casino Expansion to Be Held on January 7
A fresh Jersey Assembly committee will hold a public hearing on one of many two proposed bills for casino expansion outside Atlantic City on January 7. The hearing will happen in Trenton and attendees will talk about whether opening two gambling enterprises in North Jersey would be advantageous to hawaii.
Earlier in the day this year, the New Jersey Legislature was given two proposals, calling for expansion of casino gambling outside Atlantic City. A hearing regarding the Senate-sponsored bill happened on December 21. If authorized, the proposed legislation would require the two new casinos to be handled by an New Jersey gambling that is existing operator. By comparison, the bill that is assembly-sponsored require only 1 of the two gambling enterprises become owned by the Atlantic City casino company.
Commenting on the two proposals, Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto said that both houses associated with the Legislature have not agreed on which one of the two will be placed before voters at the 2016 referendum november. Mr. Prieto also noticed that the bill that is assembly-sponsored maybe not been changed since last week, whenever an amended version was presented.
